The itinerary

We plan to arrive in Colombia earlier that week - Sunday August 28th - to explore Medellin (lots of fun tours and other activities lined up). We encourage you to join us. The day before the wedding - Thursday September 1st - we will check into our hotel near the venue, about 30 minutes outside of the city in Rionegro. We will leave for our honeymoon on Sunday September 4th, but don't let us stop you from staying and enjoying even more of Colombia!

Attire

In August & September, Medellin can be both warm and chilly. Highs can be in the upper 70s F°, lows can be in the 50s F°. Some rain should be expected as well.

We're aiming for a festive-casual ceremony, embracing Colombia's floral beauty. Ladies should feel free to wear long, pastel dresses. The gentlemen should wear long-sleeved, button-up shirts that are white or pastel-colored along with light dress pants (ties & blazers are optional). Most importantly: be comfortable and ready to tear up the dance floor.

COVID safety

The wedding venue and most hotels require proof of vaccination. We will keep this site updated if the situation evolves but please expect to bring a photo or digital copy as proof.
